Are you looking to investigate some of the paranormal occurrences in Macclesfield, infamously known as one of Cheshire’s most haunted towns? Then why not join us on the 26th November for one of our Ghost Hunting events as we explore the peculiar Bate Hall Pub, a spooky 16th Century venue!
A building said to be tormented by many spirits, it is one of the town’s oldest and most haunted locations. It was once home to the Earl of Courtown, James Stopford, and the Stopford family as well as other Parliamentarians. It’s also believed to be inhabited by the Witch of Macclesfield, also referred to as the ‘Grey Lady’, who roams the floors of the building. She was said to have been chased by an enraged mob to Bate Hall, where she was dragged inside and hung from the bannisters.
This November, what mysterious incidents will we encounter? Providing you with the chance to conduct your own investigation, and participate in group vigils, we guarantee that all of our Ghost Hunting events deliver an authentic evening. We don’t use trickery and no member of the Haunted Revelations team will fabricate anything during the evening. What will you discover this season in Macclesfield?
